On Friday, February 20, 2015, in Denmark, the largest winning amount in the history of the country in the lottery EuroJackpot was won
According to DR.dk, the winner will get more than 315 million krone (about 42.2 million euros).
The winning ticket was purchased in one of the supermarkets in the town of Helsingr on the island of Zealand. “At the moment, we do not have any idea who has won. Maybe this person also hasn’t realized yet that he won the jackpot because not everyone checks their tickets immediately after the drawing,”- said an employee of EuroJackpot.
However, according to him, the lottery representatives are not going to wait for the winner at the office and in the coming days they will go to the store where the winning ticket was purchased. They are hoping that the winner of the jackpot will first go there as well.
